Walter McKinley Lipscomb Jr. was born on January 24, 1973, in Bedford, VA, and entered eternal life on Thursday morning, May 22, 2025. He was a faithful, devoted father, son, brother, husband, and friend until the day of his call from God.

Walter is preceded in death by his father, Walter McKinley Lipscomb Sr., grandmothers, Josephine Mosley and Mildred Lipscomb, grandfathers, Matthew Mosley and William L. Lipscomb.

Walter dedicated his life to God as a child by baptism, covering him along his journey into adulthood. He was a big fan of the Las Vegas Raiders, Chicago Bulls, and the Tennessee Vols. Walter enjoyed the learning aspect of deconstructing / reconstruction of most things electrical or auto and was very knowledgeable with each. He was a gamer at heart during his downtime with games such as God of War, GTA 5 (was waiting on 6 for sure), Destiny, Division 2, and the Need for Speed series Not to mention, if he decided to dress formally, it was evident he was Walter Lipscomb Sr's son, as his appearance was sharp while maintaining the gentleman characteristic 24/7 that was instilled in him. His personality, kind heart, sense of humor, love of music (Yelawolf and T.I. stayed on repeat) and love for family & friends will be greatly missed, but his memories will remain in the heart of those he grew to know personally.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted mother Margaret Turner of Roanoke, VA; wife Aundria Whorley-Lipscomb; son DeKwan Whorley-Lipscomb; brothers and sister Maurice Lipscomb of Roanoke, VA, Devin Lipscomb, Brandon Lipscomb, Nephetiria Huley and Elliott Brooks of Memphis, TN; caring stepmother Vanessa Lipscomb of Memphis, TN, a host of nieces and nephews of Memphis, TN; three aunts, Mary Robertson (Richard), Ellen Newbill (John) of Bedford, VA, Kathy Lipscomb of Lynchburg, VA , two uncles, Russell Mosley (Lettie) of Bedford VA, Charles Mosley (Ruth) of Davie, FL.
