Valerie Denise Jones Harris, age 46, of Evington, Virginia went to be with the Lord on July 16, 2014 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born July 31, 1967 to Ralph Jennings and the late Jean Mae Hill. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her grandmother who raised her, Bernice L. Jones. She is survived by her children, Carl Evans, Jr. (Charity) of Roanoke, VA, Latasha Jones (Kazan) of Lynchburg, VA, Cordarale Jones (Amy) of Roanoke, VA, and Kelly Jones of Bedford, VA; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Hill of Bedford, VA, and Gary Hill, Sr. (Sheena) of Roanoke, VA; two sisters, Catina Cheatwood (Lewis) of Roanoke, VA and Lisa Jennings of Bedford, VA, a devoted aunt, Jackie Jones (David) of Bedford, VA; a special friend, Melvin Allen of Evington, VA, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, cousins, other relatives and friends.
