Mr. Thomas Lee Wright of Bedford, Virginia, fondly known as "Mule," passed away at the age of 73 on Sunday, February 2, 2025. He was the son of the late William Rudolph Wright and Mable Gertrude Wright. He was also preceded in death by his son, Shawn C. Johnson.

Thomas graduated from Liberty High School. After high school, he joined Norfolk Southern, where he proudly spent his entire career. He maintained a lifelong passion for hunting, fishing, and farming, which brought him great happiness.

Surviving are his sons, Jerome Scott, Brian (Teresa) Wright, and Nathan (Kenzie) Wright; daughter, Chasity Wright; granddaughters, Jaiden Scott, Jordyn Scott, Jurnei Scott, and A'jah Wright; grandsons, Isaiah Nichols, Joshua Wright, David Kasey, Atlas Wright, and Fox Wright; great-grandsons, Julian Brown, Alyias Jones, and Maddox Jones; sisters, Emma Sharpe and Sharon Hamlin; brothers, Richard (Delores) Wright and John (Renae) Wright; a host of other relatives; and several beloved hunting dogs.
