Thomas Pullen's Obituary
Thomas "Tonto" Pullen, Jr. age 81, of Bedford, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016. He was born on January 14, 1935 to the late Thomas "Tom" Willie Pullen and Lelia Bell Pullen. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Lettie Mae Pullen and his grandmother, Elizabeth Coles Steptoe Penn "Grandma Lizzie".
He is survived by five daughters, Jerri Holland and Jackie Lamore Pullen both of Raliegh, NC., Carol Harris of Lynchburg, VA., Thomasena Harmon and Jo Ann Manns (Edwin) both of Bedford, VA.; fourteen grandchildren, Brandolyn, Dreamer (Lotharius), Danielle, Ashley, Michael, Michelle, Blair, Christopher, Dezirae, Tony, Julius, Sashia, Simeon and Ashley M.; nine great-grandchildren, Niia, Dasani, Elijah, Israel, Jaiden, Mikiah, Cameron, Draxx and Gabby; three special cousins, Maxine Goode, Sylvia Wright, and Brenda Hayworth; three brothers-in-law, Victor Jones, Lloyd Jones and Jack Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 1:00pm at Washington Street Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Virginia Memorial Park. Friends may call the funeral home on Thursday for viewing. Arrangements by Bedford Funeral Home.
