According to the Divine Purpose and Plan of our Heavenly Father, an angel was dispatched from heaven on October 26, 2015 to carry our loved one, Theadore DeWayne Bannister, age 63, home to be with the Lord. He was born on January 23, 1952 in Buchanan, Va to Ethel Sales Bannister and the late John W. Bannister. In addition to his Father, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Cooper and a devoted Aunt, Evelyn Anderson. Those left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Linda Blake Bannister of Bedford Va; one son, James (Maryann) Bannister of Bedford; four daughters: Stephanie Glover of Evington, Va., Tonya (Chaunce) Jones of Bedford Va., Yolanda (Gerry) Staples of Bedford Va. and Kawania Bannister of Bedford Va; his Mother, Ethel Mae Bannister of Roanoke, VA; four brothers: John (Sharon) Bannister, Jasper Bannister, Calvin Bannister and Kevin Bannister all of Roanoke Va; Four sisters: Brenda (Milton) Harris, Phyllis McNeil both of Roanoke Va., Edith Blake, of Bedford Va., Wanda (Herman) Lucky and Jeanette (Russell) Taylor both of Roanoke, Va; Four Brother in Laws, Three Sister in Laws, 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
