Stephen W. Revis Sr., 75, of Lynchburg, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024 after a long battle with cancer surrounded by his family.  Born in Lynchburg on January 4, 1949, he was the son of the late Vernon and Adelle Simons. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gary Revis and sister, Vicki Thomas.

He is survived by his son, Steve Revis (Audrey) of Rustburg; and daughter, Stacey Smith of Clarksville, TN; two brothers Kenneth Revis (Becky) and Ricky Simons (Brenda); granddaughter Kate Revis; grandson Tanner Smith and great-grandson Jason Revis.

Stephen retired from Ferguson Enterprises where he drove a truck.  He loved being a truck driver and enjoyed telling stories of all of the places he had delivered pipe to up and down the east coast.

For the last several years of Stephen's life, he was part of the Centra PACE program.  PACE was instrumental in Stephen being able to stay home during these final few months and were such a blessing to his family during his time with them.  PACE is an amazing program, and his family highly recommends them to help with aging parents.  In lieu of flowers or gifts, we ask that a thoughtful donation to PACE be made in his memory.
