Sharon E. Ware, age 60 of Bedford departed this life on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Virginia Baptist Hospital in Lynchburg, VA. She was born on January 21, 1953 to the late Emma J. and Coleman Bates. Sharon attended Bedford County Public Schools and completed her education at Woodrow Wilson Training School in Fishersville, VA. She accepted Christ at Western Light Baptist Church on Centerville Rd. in Bedford and remained a faithful member there. Sharon was an employee of Centra Health at Bridges Treatment Center in Lynchburg for 31 years. She was a former employee of the Elks National Home in Bedford for many years. She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved and devoted husband Darryle M. Ware, daughter Stephanie J. (Michael) Gilmore, Bedford, VA, stepchildren, Bettina, Darlene, and Darryle Ware all of Lynchburg, VA, grandchildren, Chantel and Shemar Gilmore of Bedford, VA, step grandchildren, La'Dalsha, Helena, and Caden Ware of Lynchburg, VA, one brother, Cleveland (Patsy) Johnson, one sister, Wanda J. Sharpe both of Bedford, VA, brothers-in-law, James (Debra) Ware, of Lynchburg, VA, Renard (April) Taylor of Madison Heights, VA, sisters-in-law, Sharon D. Ware, Shevalla Crawford, Crystale (Michael) Roseall all of Lynchburg, VA; aunts, Minnie B. Traynham of Halifax, VA, Annie J. Lynton of Bedford, VA, Edna (Harry) Wills of Washington, D.C., Delores J. Gibbon of New York, and Cora P. Johnson of Bedford, VA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
