Forest
Ruth Ann Darby, 83, gained her wings peacefully at home on Sunday, January 5, 2025 surrounded by family. She is preceded in death by daughter, Gale Beatty and siblings, Arlene Harris, Jeralene Payne, and Nathaniel Lewis Harris.
She went to Bedford County public schools and worked at the New London Academy for thirty-four years. She possessed the Gift of Helps. She gave her life to the Lord at nineteen years old and served all the way up until her failure of health in 2023. She was a member of Faith Redemption Fellowship.
She was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and so much more. Those that knew her, knew her by her acts of service. She was the kind of person that would go above and beyond and performed in excellence.
