Mr. Rudolph M. Hairston, age 68 of Bedford, VA passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. He was born the sixth of eight children to the late John Hairston and Doretha E. Hairston.

He is survived by his children Vatena Hite, Stephanie Hite, Jakob Cassady, O'Brien Anthony and Derrick Anthony; his former wife Vicky Hairston; siblings Shirley M. Gladden, Donald R. Hairston, Leslie H. Hairston, Caesar L. Hairston, Carolyn Watson, David W. Hairston and Beverly A. Hughes; step-siblings Kim Fleming, Carol Jeanna Fleming-Anderson, Lorna Fleming-Rathbone, Natalie Mason, Erik Fleming, Cyrus Fleming III, Nikol Fleming Fields, Kinshasa Fleming-Bobb, Jennifer Fleming, Noelle Fleming and Denise Fleming. He also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
