Ronald Larry Browne was born on March 16, 1932 in Richmond, VA to the late Mable M. and Henderson J. Brown, Jr. He departed this life on May 26, 2012. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his precious siblings, Laverne Beavers, Geraldine Beavers, Henderson J. Brown, III, Llewellyn Brown, Gloria Brown, Walter Brown, Robinette Brown, and Oscar Brown. Ron's love of people engraved a smile of friendship and warmth. He was the son of a Tailor and grandson of an Engraver/Printer, which were skills he acquired, and they enhanced his endeavors of life. During a second military tour, Ron found the treasure beyond compare ~ the truth and promises of God's word. With joy and faith, he dedicated his life and was baptized Jehovah's Witness. Ron is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carolyn; two daughters, Ronlyn Laray Browne of Oahu, Hawaii, Bonny Lynn Browne and a son, Anthony Price, both of Bedford, VA; grandchildren, Sara Durham (Samuel), Brooke Nicole Browne, Cheyenne and Lilly B. Smith, Faith Browne, Nicholas Jayden, Natalie Lynia, and Noah Anthony Browne-Price; great grandchildren, Ashonta Isaiah Browne, Lalia and Nala Durham of Bedford, VA, one sister, Marietta Gray of Richmond, VA; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Brown and Ruth Brown of Silver Spring, MD, and Virginia Brown of Lanham, MD; and a lovely family of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He also is survived by special friends, Calvin and Betty Fields and Jimmy Hart all of Bedford, VA.
