Phyllis Dabney Miller, age 58 of Big Island, VA went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 20, 2024. She was born on February 26, 1965 to the late Rebecca D. Hamilton and Curtis D. Dabney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Albert Scott, Jr. and Catherine S. Scott; paternal grandparents, Charlie Dabney and Mary Dabney.

Phyllis was educated in the Bedford County School System. She was a graduate of Jefferson Forest High School. Phyllis was employed at Burlington Industries in Glasgow, VA for eighteen plus years. She then worked in the medical field for a short period of time.

Phyllis enjoyed playing bingo, traveling and spending time with her close family members and friends. Her sweet spirit and her beautiful smile will be missed. However, her loved ones find comfort in knowing that she is at rest.

Those left to cherish her memories are: her husband, Fletcher G. Miller, Sr.; son, Fletcher G. Miller, Jr.; grandson, Fletcher G. Miller, III; brother, Curtis M. Dabney (Sharon); sister, Margaret M. Dabney (John); aunt, Ollie Reid; a special friend, Barbara Douglas; two extended sons, Greg Marlatt and Chase Andrews; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.

When I come to the end of the road,
