Peggy Eileen Lipscomb, 62 of Bedford, Va passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born on February 27, 1961 to the late John and Lorraine Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Forrest and Keith Johnson, her maternal grandmother, Edmonia Forrest and paternal grandparents Curtis and Bessie Johnson.

Peggy was known in the community as a fun loving spit fire of a woman. Never backing down from the roadblocks she faced throughout her life but can be the life of the party and guaranteed to make you laugh. What is a filter? That's something Peggy never seen. If you want a truthful opinion ask Peggy. If you were blessed to meet her then you feel the love and sadness the family feels and we love and cherish your thoughts and prayers.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Donald Lipscomb (Krystle), daughter Tiffany Johnson, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Michael (Joyce) Johnson and John (Judy) Johnson; sisters Kathy Bryant, Phyllis Coles and Elaine (Andrew) Robertson; sister-in-law Sharon Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
