Paul Andrew Mitchell entered into eternal rest Monday, December 12, 2011 at Bedford Memorial Hospital. He was born July 31, 1935 in Bedford County to the late William A. Mitchell and Amanda D. Mitchell. He was a faithful member of Sharon Baptist Church until his health no longer allowed him to attend. He was employed by Sears Roebuck and Co. for many years. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Sheila H. Cunningham. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife, Maria H. Mitchell; loving and devoted brother, William (Priscilla) Mitchell; stepchildren, David (Sue) Hayden of Bedford, VA, Janet (Joe) Mills of Thaxton, VA, Frederick (Cheryl) Hayden of Bedford, VA and Timothy (Phoebe) Hayden of Bedford, VA; a "special" daughter, Felicia Johnson; numerous grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
