Mrs. Oneda Sears Ridgeway departed this life on Monday, April 7, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-nine years John F. Ridgeway; her birth parents Millie Sears and Arvell McNell; the couple she was raised by John C. & Myrtle Hunter; brothers Raleigh Hunter (married to Pauline) and Wadely Hunter.

She is survived by her daughters Tara Torres (Jorge) and Sharon Clements; grandchildren Cara George (Shawn), Michael Powers (Vanessa), Ava Torres, Gabriel Torres, Alena Torres and Nicholas Torres; multiple great grandchildren, nieces and friends.
