The Book of Life opened for Michael Christopher Forrest on October 4, 1984. This precious baby boy was the son of Alfred and Marion Bonds. Michael was a graduate of Staunton River High School and was employed by RGIS as an Assistant Manager. Michael was the eldest of two brothers, Major "T.J." (Catie) Forrest III; Alfonza (Katie) Eggleston; one sister, Malanda (Matthew) Babbitt; four half brothers, Robert, Tracy Jr., Paul and Joshua Forrest; two half sisters, Michelle and Brittany Forrest. He was the loving uncle of five nieces, Taliyah, Janiah, Ariannah, Adeyja, and Aaleyja; one nephew, Logan, and a host of uncles and aunts, other relatives and friends, all of whom he leaves to cherish his memory, along with one special friend and mentor, his boss Jeff. On October 10, 2011 the Book of Life on earth closed for Michael as his new life with our Heavenly Father begun. Life is but a stopping place, a pause in what's to be, A resting place along the road, to sweet eternity. We all have different journeys, different paths along the way, We all were meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay... Our destination is a place, far greater than we know. For some the journey's quicker, for some the journey's slow. And when the journey finally ends, we'll claim a great reward, And find an everlasting peace, together with the Lord.
