Melvin R. Anderson age 64, of Bedford, died Monday, January 11, 2016. He was born to Baker and Dorothy Anderson on August 16, 1951.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Marion Anderson; two daughters: Tracey (Corderro Haynes) Anderson and Stacey (George) Redboy; three brothers: Steve Anderson, Avery (Cindy) Anderson and Harold (Barbara) Anderson; two sisters: Mildred Hunter and Doris Moorman; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm at Western Light Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Friends may call the funeral home on Friday for viewing.
