Marian "Cindy"
Bonds
May 31, 1965 — Feb 17, 2020
Moneta
Marian "Cindy" Bonds peacefully entered into her eternal home on February 17, 2020. She was born on May 31, 1965 in Bedford, Virginia to the late Mencer Taylor, Jr. and Eva Kathleen Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her wonderful son, Michael Christopher Forrest.
Cindy was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She graduated from Liberty High School in 1984. She worked as a CNA for 30 years including Bedford County Nursing Home, Bedford Memorial Hospital and Home Health.
She loved what she did for a living, but even more the work at home as a wife and mother. She was a very proud grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her 11 grandchildren. She found joy in taking care of others, crossword puzzles, TV shows and traveling to Myrtle Beach and Texas. She enjoyed chatting for hours on the phone with friends and family. She never forgot a detail of someone that she loved. She truly cared about the health and emotional well-being of those around her.
Left to cherish her memory: her husband, Alfred "Lendale" Bonds, together for 31 years ; Children: son, Alphonso Eggleston and his longtime girlfriend, Katie Bobbitt; granddaughters, Amiyah Bobbitt, Adeyja Eggleston, Aleyja Eggleston and Tahlyn Saul, son, Major "T.J." Forrest and his longtime girlfriend, Caidi Luke and granddaughters, Ariannah Thomason, Janiah Thomason, Taliyah Forrest and Milayah Forrest, daughter, Malanda "Nanny" Babbitt and husband, Matt Babbitt, grandchildren, Logan Babbitt, Landon Babbitt and Lyla Babbitt; and a host of sisters, brothers, and loved ones.
"A smile for all, a heart of gold;
one of the best the world could hold.
Never selfish, always kind,
these are the memories you left behind."
Lovingly Submitted,
The Family
