Margie Elizabeth Moon, 69 of Bedford, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. She was born on August 20, 1955 in Bedford, VA. Margie was preceded in death by her husband Mark Moon; parents Berniece G. Hurt and David Coyle; sister Vanessa Holdren; and brother-in-law Bobby Spinner.

Margie was a dedicated employee of Golden West Foods for forty-plus years. She spent her later years employed at McCormick/Brooks Food and McDonalds respectively. In her spare time, she loved crocheting, making floral arrangements and helping to decorate for small weddings.

She is survived by her devoted siblings: David J. Hurt of Lynchburg, VA, Michelle D. Spinner, Rita L. Watts (Wilbert) both of Bedford, VA; nieces and nephews: Ebony Hurt, Melissa Gilmore, Teresa Hurt, Lyvetta Coyle, Carrie Spinner, Nika Robb (Raysean), Harris Watts and Alexander Watts; a host of great nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
