Mr. Macarthur Moon, 81 of Bedford County, VA departed this life on Thursday, October 30, 2025. He was born on March 7, 1944 to the late Clyde Moon, Sr. and Virginia P. Moon. In addition, he was preceded in death by four siblings, Barbara Anthony, Gary Moon, Decoda Lee and Gloria Smith; and two granddaughters, Charitye Tanner and Marquita Thompson.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Gloria Jean Kasey Moon; children, Vernon M. Moon, Dora G. Steptoe (Jeffrey) and Eric A. Moon; eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren; his siblings, Geraldine Guyton, Jacqueline Campbell, Clyde Moon Jr. (Francella), Raymond Moon (Regina), Leonard Moon (Lorretta), Darrell Moon, Reginald Moon (Teresa) and Rickey Moon; and a special daughter Reena Martin. Macarthur also leaves behind many relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
