Lloyd Marshall Spinner's Obituary
Lloyd Marshall Spinner, age 83, of Bedford, died June 14, 2017. He was born August 12, 1933 to the late Francis Theodore Spinner and Vea Mobeal Spinner. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy V. Spinner and Melvin B. Spinner.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife of 39 years, Blanche Spinner; three stepsons, Robert Morris (Lisa) of Bedford, VA, Vincent Morris (Viola) of Rustburg, VA and Keith Morris (Mitzi) of Bedford, VA.; one brother, Francis N. Spinner (Florence) of Goode,VA; seven sisters, Inez Jackson (Hilton) of Lynchburg, VA, Jessie Alexander, Frankie Taylor, Virginia Mallette (James) all of Goode, VA; Dorothy Spinner (John) of Forest, VA, Nellie Rose (James) of Newport News, VA, and Youtha Spinner of Upper Marlboro, MD; sister-in-law, Geraldine B. Spinner of Goode, VA; one uncle, Dea. Wilma Hall of Bedford, VA; a devoted nephew, William Lee Spinner and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Poplar Spring Baptist Church in Goode, VA. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church . Friends may view the remains on Saturday, June 17th after 12 noon at Bedford Funeral Home.
