Mrs. Lisa P. Morris of Bedford, Virginia departed this life on Friday, April 22, 2022 at her residence. She was born October 4, 1965 to the late Clarence E. Payne and Louise Hurt Payne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Nona H. Abbott, Evelyn J. Snead, Cheryl W. Clark, and Dorothy L. Clark; her nephew, Phillip Abbott and her bonus granddaughter, Salonya Evans.

Lisa had a deep love for the Lord. She loved to sing at her church, First Baptist Church of Goode, where she joined at a young age. Lisa use to sing for people at work and for friends at their weddings.  She organized Alfred Hurt New Generation Gospel Choir with her nieces and nephew until her health started to decline.

Those left to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted husband, Robert E. Morris. Katrina Preston(Cheyney) who referred to Lisa as "Bonus Mom", and granddaughter, Kaydence. Three brothers: Frank Clark Jr (Debra) of Bedford, VA; Clarence Clark (Joy) of Jacksonville, NC and Clarence Parker of Bedford, VA . One sister, Sharon Henry of Bedford, VA who was also a devoted caregiver. Her nieces, Tina Parker(Michael) and Tamika Felix who were raised as her sisters; one uncle, Alvin Payne (Robin); Lisa also had two brothers-in-law, Keith Morris(Misty) and Vincent Morris(Viola) and Mother-in-law, Blanche Spinner.  Two Godsons/nephews, Shannan and Thomas Clark of Bedford, VA.. She has a host of other nieces, nephews who she gave them all nicknames; other relatives, friends and Church family.
