Obituary

On March 30th heaven welcomed a beautiful soul home.  Lisa Fay Farmer transitioned to her heavenly home at the age of 62. Lisa was born in Halifax County, Virginia on July 2, 1962 to Essie Patricia Farmer White.

Lisa was known for her infectious smiles, tight hugs and eye for fashion. Those who knew her frequently referred to her as "Princess" or "Queen" Lisa.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Essie Farmer White, a sister Pamela L. Waller (Solomon), a brother Antonio T. White, three nephews, Nelson Leon White, Traquon D. Carter, Jackson White and one great niece, Catalay Carter.

She leaves to honor her memory five aunts, Zelma Hood, Joan Farmer, Lillian Johnson, Diane Wilkins (Bernard Wilkins), Brenda Farmer, and one uncle Benjamin Farmer Jr (Doris), and a host of cousins who loved her dearly.

She will be genuinely missed by the dedicated staff of Life Line Residential Services that cared for her tirelessly, and who provided an enriched life of love, care, and affection. A special and sincere thank you to Cindy Watts, Tiffany Dews, Anthony Brown, David Bullock, Amirah Jones, Casey Pritchett, Shakela Bradley, and Gail Goode for embracing her world with care, compassion, love and affection.
