Rev. John J. Spinner, Sr.'s Obituary
Rev. John J. Spinner Sr. age 74 of Bedford ,Va., devoted Husband, Father and Pastor, went to be with the Lord on Friday Nov. 2 ,2018 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born to the late Monroe and Georgia Spinner in addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Cherrie Mae Brown.
He was Pastor and Founder of Gospel Fellowship Temple in Bedford ,Va. and co - founder of Fellowship Auto Sales. Rev. Spinner retired from Griffin Pipe after 35 years of service. He was united in holy matrimony for 50 years to Georgia P. Spinner. He is survived by his wife, Georgia; three sons whom he cherished, John (Kim) Spinner, Rev. Ronald (Kimberly) Spinner and Kelly Spinner; seven granddaughters, four great-granddaughters; a devoted brother Joseph ( Geraldine) Spinner; four brothers-in-law, Nathaniel Brown, James Miller, Donald (Jackie) Miller and Ronnie Miller; five sisters-in-law, Dorothy Polk, Irene (Bernard) Watts, Blanche (Johnnie) Harris, Debra (Frankie) Clark and Dee Dee Williams.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday Nov. 6 ,2018 at 1:00 pm at the Gospel Fellowship Temple in Bedford ,Va. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8 pm at the Bedford Funeral Home Chapel .
