Jean Elizabeth Holmes,96, passed away peacefully in Philadelphia, PA on December16, 2024. She was born on April 17, 1928 to the late Benjamin and Lucy Holmes.

Jean was raised in Bedford, VA (Shiloh community) and joined Shiloh Baptist Church at an early age. In her free time, she enjoyed listening to music and she loved to shop.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Wendell Harrison of Philadelphia PA,, Charlotte Harrison of Newark NJ, and Devyon Harrison of Novato, CA; grandchildren, Eric Waller (Zoie) and Danielle Harris (Burt).  She also leaves behind her great grandchildren, Jayden, David, and Joy Harris.  Jean is survived by her sister, Riva Blanchard and will be missed by a circle of family and friends.
