James Richard "Boo Boo" Mallette, age 73, of Goode, departed this life on Thursday, June 22, 2017. He was born on May 20, 1944 to the late Clarence and Carrie Mallette. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother, Clarence Mallette (Hazel) and uncle, James Henry.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Virginia S. Mallette of Goode; one son, Tyrone R. Mallette of Lawrenceville, GA; one daughter, Teresa R. Peterson (Tony) of Glen Bernie, MD; three grandchildren, Imani Jackson, Zav'an Peterson and Kaylin Peterson; four sisters, Carolyn Mallette and Deloris Mallette both of Bedford, Sharen Pride (Alexander) and Tamar Sutton (Derek) both of Reston,VA;  other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 1pm in the Bedford Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-6pm at the Bedford Funeral Home. Arrangements by Bedford Funeral Home.
