Horace Bryant, Sr., 75, of Goode departed this life Sunday, September 4, 2011 at his residence. He was born February 25, 1936 to the late Roy and Gertrude Bryant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters. He is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Thressa H. Bryant, two sons, Horace Bryant, Jr. of Lynchburg, VA and Willie Mines of Bedford, VA, one daughter, Vickie Bryant of Goode, VA, four grandchildren, and one great granddaughter; two sisters, two brothers, and a devoted friend, Bruiser, the Pug; and a host of other relatives and friends.
