On the early morning of Monday, June 5, 2023, the Lord called home Mr. Henry O. Jones, where he departed this life peacefully at Oakwood Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on December 13, 1936 to the late Alfred and Frances Jones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers Luther Jones, Ernest Jones and James Jones; and four sisters Nancy Lowry, Lula Thompson, Sarah Stith and Barbara Blake.

Henry accepted Christ at an early age and was a devoted member of the Western Light Baptist Church. He was passionate about his church and his church family. Henry was a retiree of thirty-nine years from Rubatex Textile Industries in Bedford.

To know Henry was to love him. He was a joyful person with a very distinctive laugh that you could not forget. All that knew Henry, knew he was a "Ford" man, and according to him, no other car can compare! Henry also loved watching car racing and was a big fan of the Green Bay Packers. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his devoted wife of fifty years, Vivian L. Jones whom he dearly loved and cherished. And a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends especially Bill and Carol Davis.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son,

that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." ~ John 3:16
