Henry Earl Hurt, 52 of Bedford, received his call to come home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at UVA Hospital after a short illness. He was born October 23, 1958. He was an employee of Advance Auto in Bedford, VA and was on the Bedford Life Saving Crew and worked for the Bedford Sheriff's Dept. He was a great friend to all that met him. He will be sorely missed in the Bedford Community. Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Wiley (Laurie) Hurt, Bedford, VA, David Hurt (Vicky) of Lynchburg, VA, John (Deborah) Hurt of Davenport, FL, sister-in-law, Carolyn Hurt of Bedford; nieces and nephews, Carlos, Christopher, Tony, Kadeshia, Denisia, Vegas, Carlashia, and Jaalen; devoted uncle, Charlie (Joann) Nichols, of Bedford, VA, devoted cousin, Darlene Herndon, devoted friends, Kevin Hatcher, Jenine Shaw, and many other devoted friends.
