Harry D. Blake departed this life on September 19, 2013 in Oakwood Manor Nursing Home, Bedford. He was born on March 2, 1916 to the late Edward and Ella Blake. He was married to the late Rosa Blake. He attended Western Light Baptist Church in Bedford until his health began to fail. He worked on the railroad and for many years he was employed by the United States Postal Service as a Mail Carrier. His survivors include many devoted nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Harry favorite saying was: "Jimmy, get my keys so I can drive myself home". He will be missed by all.
