Gaynelle Louise Scott, also affectionately known as "Grandma Grouchy" age 89, of Bedford VA departed this life November 17, 2012 at Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born November 18, 1922 to the late Herbert and Maude Stiff. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, one son, Paul "Cream" Anderson, and two daughters, Barbara Brown and Marion Otey, as well as one sister and two brothers. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Claudia Steptoe, one son, Claude Anderson, twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one sister, June S. Jackson and husband Robert, of Bedford, VA, three brothers, William Stiff and wife Hessie, of Bensalem, PA, Harry N. Stiff of FL, and Douglas E. Stiff of Brooklyn, NY, sister-in-law Evelyn C. Stiff of Denver, CO, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. I promise no tomorrow But today will always last And since each day's the same There's no longing for the past.
