Evelyn Amanda Booker's Obituary
Evelyn Amanda Booker, age 93, of Bedford, experienced her last sunrise on this side of eternity on April 13, 2018. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Alexander and Mary Elizabeth Breedlove Thomas; husband, George Booker; daughter, Burnetta Nimons; grandson, Garfield Nimons; siblings, George Edward, William Marshall, Margaret Elizabeth, Dorice Marie and Alexander, Jr.
Evelyn is survived by her granddaughter, Shawn Nimons; three great-grandsons, Alexander Roper, Sr., Terrance Nimons, Sr. and Garrett Clark; two great-granddaughters, Toni Marie Wilson and Faith Nimons, five great-great- grandchildren; lastly, unbelievable friends, Mr. Pete and Donna Kirby.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 1pm at Washington Street Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Fairmont Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
