Eugene Junior Jones' Obituary
On April 30, 2016, "June" heard a soft, gentle whisper..."the pain is too great for you to bear, come on with me." He slipped quietly into the Master's arms. June was born on December 11, 1939 to the late Florence Jones and Eugene Flood.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by four brothers, Roy, Calvin, James and Jack; four sisters, Augusta, Mary, Mattie and Kate; two sisters-in-law, Frances and Ruby; five brothers-in-law, Horace, Howard, Lee, Mack and Reighlyn; and his former wife, Ernestine Bryant.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Gerry (Carol) Jones, James Jones, Danny Jones, Faith (Darryle) Ware and Constance Pettigrew; one brother, William Jones; sixteen grandchilden, twenty-nine great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Martha Jones, Muriel Jones, Theresa Bryant and Barbara Saunders; two brothers-in-law, James Bryant, Sr. and Norvell Bryant, Sr.; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Special thanks to: his niece, Mary Turner, granddaughter, Christy Staples and grandson, Gerry Staples.
