Erica Shauntell Lee, age 29 of Vinton, departed this life on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. She was born on December 12, 1990. She was preceded in death by: her maternal grandmother, Barbara Anthony; maternal grandfather, Nathaniel Lee; paternal grandfather, Thomas Brown, Sr. and niece, Rashele Lee.

Erica, affectionately known as "Pookie" by her family and friends was a loving mother, sister and friend. She was educated in the Bedford County School System and was a graduate of Staunton River High School, where she played basketball. She then obtained her C.N.A. and was employed at Lewis Gale Medical System in Salem, VA. Erica enjoyed being around her family and friends; living life to the fullest. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

Erica leaves to cherish her precious memory: her Fiance', Maurice Burnette; children, Malayah Burnette and Marion Burnette; mother, Cathy Lee-Hearse (husband, Rodney); father, Arthur Lewis Brown (girlfriend, Brenda Hayden); sisters, Kimberly Lee and Gail Brown; brother, Dimetrious Lee (wife, Shauntel); paternal grandmother, Irene Brown; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
