Donald O. Parker Donald O. Parker, age 55, of Bedford died April 21, 2013 at Bedford Memorial Hospital. He was born August 6, 1957 in Bedford, VA to the late Mrs. Frances P. Nelms. Donald professed his life to Christ at an early age and became a member of the Bold Branch Baptist Church. He graduated from Liberty High School and was a former employee of Food Lion, and worked many years at Sam Moore Furniture. He loved working on cars, building things with his hands, and was an excellent artist. For the past 17 years he was a member of Word of Life Evangelical Church where he was an Elder. He also sang on the Choir and was part of the Praise Team. Left to cherish Donald's memories are his wife, Annette R. Parker, his daughters, Tahmeeka L. Johnson, Bryanna Adams, Bethany Duncan, and Tashawna Bullard; three sisters, Joyce (Dixie) Jones, Elaine P. (Andrew) Robertson, Cheryl P. (William) Coles; four brothers, Warren A. (Patricia) Parker, Jobe Nelms, Jr. Michael E. (Sharon) Nelms, and David W. (Cheryl) Nelms; one uncle, Mr. David E. (Betty) Parker, one aunt, Mrs. Erma P. Garrett; four sisters-in-law, Helen Coles, Gloria Hurt, Ellen Ross, and Tracy Spinner; one brother-in-law, Granville Ross, Jr., father-in-law, Sir Granville Ross, Sr., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
