Diane Jones, age 63 of Bedford, quietly passed into eternal rest on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at her residence. She was born on July 9, 1956 to the late James Jones, Sr. and Bernice L. Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara King and two brothers, Samuel Lee Jones, Sr. and James Jones, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are: one son, Thomas "Red" Jones (wife, Yolonda) of Richmond; two granddaughters, Monica Payne and Arieanna Payne; four sisters: Mary Lou Gilchrist (husband, Alton), Sharon Steptoe (husband, Gary), Jackie Jones all of Bedford and Pam Fisher (husband, Ernest) of Altanta, GA; one brother, Lorenzo Williams of Bedford; one brother-in-law: Charles King of Roanoke; three uncles, Lawrence Williams (wife, Tina), Joe Williams and William "Bill" Jones; one aunt, Polly Williams Johnson all of Bedford; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends.
