Christopher Deon Forrest's Obituary
Christopher D. Forrest, age 41, of Roanoke, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 10, 2016 at his residence after a brave fight against cancer. He was born on February 20, 1975 to Charles Forrest and Shirley Forrest. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Edward Forrest, Jr.; paternal grandmother, Lorraine Johnson and maternal grandparents Harry Wright, Sr. and Gertrude G. Wright.
In addition to his parents; Christopher is survived by his wife, Cheri Forrest; two sons, Christopher Gotwalt and Christian Forrest; one step-son, Danny Bostic; three daughters, Samantha Flannagan (Scott), Destiny Lee and Cari Lee; grandson, Scott Flannagan; granddaughter, Audree Flannagan; one brother, Kevin Forrest (Courtney); two sisters, Patrice Simes and Tamara Forrest; grandfathers, Rufus Johnson and Charles Langhorn; a special niece, Kylie Forrest; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Bedford Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Wright Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Friends may call the funeral home after 12-noon on Friday for viewing. Arrangements by Bedford Funeral Home.
