Christine Annette Cunningham Goode, age 61 of Lynchburg, departed this life on Sunday, November 28, 2021. She was born on February 15, 1960 to the late Hazel Anthony and Moses Aaron Cunningham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Cunningham and Christopher Cunningham.

Christine was affectionately known as: Ma, Bamm, Grandma, Tiny or Mrs. Goode. She attended Faith City Church of Altavista, Va. Christine was employed as a Bus Driver for Bedford County Public Schools for many years. She worked with the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Lynchburg for twenty years and also Faith Assembly Day Care for five years. While working with those organizations she gained several "bonus grandchildren" whom she loved as her own.

Christine had a heart of gold. She loved and supported everyone's dreams and aspirations. She set a great example and made a positive impact on both the Lynchburg and Bedford Communities. Christine's kind and giving spirit will be truly missed.

Those left to cherish her beautiful memories are: her husband, Perry Goode; children: Angel Nicole Cunningham; Perry Maceo Cunningham; Eugenia Annette Goode, Max Jones (Shannon), Kurt Jones, Derrick Jones, Tyler Jones, Tae'Vaughn, Ty'kera and JoRyan Davis; longtime dedicated friend, Larry Reeves; grandchildren: Keion, Aundre, Fantasia, Elijah, Ashanta, Isiah, Keasia, Daynien, Nyla and Samira; seven great grandchildren; goddaughter, Katherine Sutton Harris (Kevin); siblings: Patricia Nelms, Marylin Jones, Charles Cunningham, Ella Range (Ron) and Doris Pinn (Danny); nieces, nephews, other relatives and numerous friends.
