Mr. Charles E. "Chuck" Crider, age 63 of Concord, Virginia departed this life on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Centra Virginia Baptist Hospital. He was born to the late Ellis and Teenie Crider. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence and James Crider; and one nephew, William Crider, Jr.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Joyce Scott Crider; one son, Wesley Burford of Concord, Virginia; one daughter, Katreana Burford of Appomattox, Virginia; six grandchildren; one brother, William (Linda) Crider, Sr. of Lynchburg, Virginia; three sisters-in-law: Carolyn Crider of Roanoke Virginia, Ruby Miller (Bobby) of Bedford Virginia and Patricia Crider of Washington, DC; one brother-in-law, William (Della) Scott of Glen Allen, Virginia; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
