Ms. Charitye Oleane Tanner, 38 of Bedford, entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 13, 2024. She was born January 15, 1986 to Angela Tanner and Vernon Moon in Roanoke, VA. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Lorenza Tanner; aunt Catherine Tanner; uncle Garry Moon; and sister Marquita Thompson.

In addition to her parents, she leaves to cherish her memories: five daughters Impryss Powell, Ashiiya Tanner-Horsley, E'Nisaja Cunningham, Keiarri Tanner and Onyx Ellis; son Joshua Cooke; sisters Shenekqor Alexander, Kesha Tanner, Veronica Poindexter, Tynajiah Martin and Candice Moon; brother Chris Young; loving grandmother Nearlean Tanner; paternal grandparents MacArthur and Gloria Jean Moon; aunts Tammy Tanner, Janice Moon and Dora Steptoe; uncles Tim (Brenda) Tanner, Lorenza Tanner and Eric Moon; stepfather Silas Alexander; special friend Nay Martin; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
