"Life is an exciting experience based on love and faith; it presents accomplishments,

joy and sadness, and like a vapor dissipates into the tranquil breezes of time."

Blanche Ellen Evans Spinner made a peaceful transition to be with her heavenly father on Monday afternoon, August 14, 2023. She was born in Bedford County on August 7, 1937 a daughter of the late Ellen and Charlie Evans. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Marshall Spinner; grandchildren Tyree Morris and Salonya Evans and her daughter-in-law Lisa Morris.

Blanche faithfully served in many ministries at Court St. United Methodist Church. She was educated in the Bedford County School System. Blanche was a hard worker and a dedicated employee at Elks National Home for over fifty years.

Blanche never met a stranger, and she was loved by everyone that she met. She was known for a lot of things, most of all her signature mole "beauty mark" on the right side of her cheek.

Those left to cherish her beautiful memories: children Robert Morris of Bedford, Vincent (Viola) Morris of Rustburg and Keith (Mitzi) Morris of Bedford; grandchildren: Tracy Poindexter, Katrina (Cheyney) Preston, Michelle Cheatwood and Tiffany Sharpe all of Bedford; great grandchildren: Aliyah Poindexter, Ti'Jae "TJ" Jones and Tristan Morris; a great-great grandchild Kaydence Evans. A host of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
