Ashley Robertson
Redfearn
Jul 10, 1980 — Dec 30, 2017
"For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands". ~Isaiah 55:12
On Saturday, December 30, 2017, God called Ashley Keona Robertson Redfearn, age 37, of Bedford, Virginia home from labor to reward. Ashley was born July 10, 1980 to Albert Michael Robertson and Evelyn A. Robertson. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert and Hester Robertson and P.A. and Evelyn Cooper, and an aunt, Ruth "Bonnie" Pullen.
Ashley professed Christ at an early age and joined the Antioch Baptist Church in Peaksville. She attended schools in Bedford and graduated from Liberty High School. She also studied at NC A&T Unv. and the College of Southern MD. Ashley was very talented and loved to cook. She was close to her family and cherished her children. She had many special friends and cousins that will miss her tremendously.
Ashley leaves to cherish her memory to her loving children, including one son, Lee "Trey" Redfearn, two daughters, Toni Redfearn and Nylah Hammond; her parents, Albert and Evelyn Robertson; one brother, Brian (Jessica) Robertson, all of Bedford, VA; loving and devoted aunts, Carolyn Anderson, Linda (Gus) Vaughn, Joyce Jordan, Sheila (Jerry) Callands; loving uncles, Marcus Robertson, Billy Cooper, Wayne Cooper, and Ronnie (Stephanie) Cooper; her godmother, Virgie Craighead; devoted cousin, Michael Lamont Anderson; and a host of loving cousins, other relatives and special friends.
Miss Me, But Let Me Go
When I come to the end of the road, and the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom-filled room, why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little-but not too long, and not with your head bowed low, Remember the love that we once shared; miss me, but let me go.
For this is a journey that we all must take, and each must go alone, It's all part of the Master's plan, a step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart, go to the friends we know, And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds; miss me, but let me go.
