Mr. Anthony Wayne Billings, age 68 of Lynchburg, departed this life on Sunday, September 27, 2020. He was born in Washington, D.C. to Ruby Bowman Wilkinson and Charles Billings. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his siblings, Franky and Anna Billings whom he is reunited with in heaven and his only aunt, Frances Bowman Nichols who was his favorite.

Anthony left Clarksburg, VA at an early age; he became an EMT at age 23. He then worked in movies in Hollywood, CA and did construction work all over the United States; his talents were endless. Anthony was a devoted father to his two children, Kristopher and Kimberli; their mother Terri Bynum was his best friend and love.

Anthony resided in Hawaii with his former wife, Dawn until 1993. They were reunited with each other in 2018. He loved Dawn dearly, she kept his light shining with the love that she showed him.

Anthony was a strong and faithful believer in God; he woke up praying and went to bed praying. He was a very intelligent, articulate, fun loving and kind hearted gentleman. Anthony was as handsome as a model and as smart as a Scientist.

Those left to cherish his memory are: his two children, Kristopher Lawrence Billings and Kimberli Brianna Billings; seven grandchildren: Dijon Billings, Paul Bishop, Isis Bishop, Cartier Hampton, Kiyrahn Billings, Messiyah Clophia and Makayla Billings (Kristopher's Daughter); one great grandchild, Da'Siyaah Billings (Dijon's Daughter); his loving former wife, Ms. Dawn Billings-Carter; three stepchildren, Mya Cox, Joshua Cox and Jason Cox; his two stepbrothers, Gerald and Ronald Billings and his nieces and nephews that reside in Atlanta, GA; his first cousins who were close to his heart, Tommy, Chucky, Rodney, Paul, Frances, Karen, Pam and Tanya Hilson ( children of his late Aunt, Fransis); nieces and nephews: Robert Lewis, Timothy Lewis, John Holifield, Darius Billings, Bianca Billings, Sandra Abringer who resides in Germany and Lil Chucky aka "Lil Daddy" (your uncle Tony loved and appreciated every moment and visit you shared with him); other relatives and friends.
