Annie Lou Brown, 94, transitioned to her heavenly home on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born to the late Harry Tinsley and Annie S. Tinsley on February 6, 1931 in Lynchburg, VA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James E. Brown; and two grandchildren Louis Brown, Jr. and Salonya Evans.

Annie was a faithful member of Otterville Baptist Church for many years until her health declined.

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter Doris B. Martin; two sons Louis E. Brown and Marvin D. Jones (Shelly); three grandchildren Rebecca A. Brown (Christopher), Trevor Jones and Kyie Jones; nine great grandchildren; a special family member Nannie Rucker; a host of other relatives and friends.
