Annia Lee "Annie" Butlar, 90, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024. While we are sad, we rejoice knowing that she is now with her Heavenly Father. She was born in King and Queen County, Virginia to the late Leola Butlar. She matriculated to the central Virginia area where she touched so many hearts. Annie was a determined woman who loved the simple things in life. She was a classy lady who enjoyed spending time getting a new haircut and manicured nails. Annie loved good food. Her strong will and determination aided in her ability to overcome many challenges and to communicate, in her own way, what she wanted or didn't want. She was affectionate and loved by many. She left a sweet, calming presence in any room she entered.

Annie will be missed by those who cared for her. A special thanks to Lifeline Residential Services and Prosperity House of Lynchburg who most recently cared for her.
