Annabell C. Craghead age 63, of Bedford, died Wednesday, January 20, 2016. She was born December 3, 1952 to the late John, Jr. and Katherine Robertson Cunningham.
At an early age Annabell joined the New Zion Baptist Church where she was a dedicated worker until her death. She attended Bedford County Public Schools. She was employed at Singer Furniture (Johnson Carper) as well as Sam Moore Furniture for many years. She also worked as a bus aid for the school system and part-time at Vista Food until her passing.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Geary W. Craghead; two daughters: Michelle Cunningham and Contina (Eugene) Foxx; seven grandchildren: Donta, Geary, Sheniqua, Marquis, Eunicqua, Equanna and Maurice; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers: Robert (Denise) Cunningham and Bobby (Diane) Cunningham; five sisters: Mary (Luther) Wilson, Mildred (Ricky) Dupree, Betty (Al) Cunningham, Magnolia Cunningham and Valerie Cunningham; five brother-in-laws, seven sister-in-laws, special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Promise Land Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Friends may view on Wednesday from 12-8pm at the Bedford Funeral Home. Arrangements by Bedford Funeral Home.
