Mrs. Alice M. Hobson, 75 of Bedford departed this life on Saturday, October 15, 2022. She was born on October 12, 1947 to the late Russell W. Hurt and Lula Mae Smith Hurt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband David Hobson.

Alice was a graduate of Susie Gibson High School in Bedford, VA. She was then employed at Moneta Dress Factory, the Elks National Home, Bedford County Nursing Home and Hardee's. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son Charles Parker, Jr.; siblings Walter Hurt and Barbara Hurt; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
