Mr. Albert B. Hayden, 81 of Bedford, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born March 5, 1939 in Bedford, VA to Leonard J. and Lucy Quarles Hayden. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his youngest daughter, Ethel H. Sharpe; a sister, Ethel Hayden and three older brothers: David Jr, William "Bill" and Charlie Hayden.

Albert enjoyed being around people, whether it was attending a family gathering or sitting under the tree with his friends at John Early Apartments.

Surviving are his three daughters: Tirjuana "Terri" Dawson, Sharon Dabney (husband, Curtis) and  Solonia "Tenee" Hayden; one brother, James Hayden (wife, Louise); an ex-wife and mother of his children, Brenda Hayden; nine grandchildren: Tomicka, Curtis Jr, Laquisha, Shatarra, Ebony, Sophia, Larry, C.J. and Jamicka; twenty six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
